Privacy Policy and Terms of Service update
Announced: October 19, 2026 · Effective: October 19, 2026 (the day of announcement)
We have clarified and strengthened user protections in the overseas Terms and Privacy Policy. The Korean Terms also clarify the free trial and Google Play renewal conditions. These changes do not disadvantage users.
What changed
- Terms, Article 4: the first subscription month is free, once per account under store and SudaCall rules. The purchase-screen monthly price is charged on the trial end date unless you cancel before then; cancellation during the trial preserves access until it ends. Google Play subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled in Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. The Korean Terms include these clarifications too.
- Overseas Terms, introduction and Article 9: a local-language version applies if more favourable to the user or required by mandatory law; ambiguities favour the user. Company intent, negligence and mandatory liabilities are not excluded or limited.
- Overseas Terms, Article 4: the Company refunds Google Play purchases. For App Store purchases we guide you to Apple. If Apple refuses a withdrawal or refund guaranteed by the Terms, we compensate you with Suda of equal value, or refund by another method when mandatory law requires money. Price changes are notified before the next renewal and you may cancel before then.
- Overseas Terms, Articles 4 and 10: Brazilian users may withdraw without reason within 7 days from purchase, including the first payment after a trial, for a full refund, and choose the courts of their Brazilian domicile. Taiwan users have a 7-day rescission right, request and dispute channels, and a digital-content exception only with notice and prior consent before payment.
- Japan: a separate Specified Commercial Transactions Act disclosure now lists sales conditions. Privacy section 7-3 supplements recipient safeguards, reasons why some processing countries cannot be determined and US government access information.
- Overseas Privacy section 7-5: transfers necessary for real-time calls rely on LGPD Articles 33 IX and 7 V. Non-essential quality analysis and feed moderation transfers require ANPD standard contractual clauses or separate consent. Brazilian account call content is not used for quality analysis until separate consent.
- Overseas Privacy sections 7 and 9: if an overseas account holder is confirmed to be under 18 we stop their use and delete related data. Enquiries are answered within 5 days. Care-contact terminology is consistent in Traditional Chinese, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
