SudaCall Terms of Service

Written 2026-08-10 · Last revised 2026-10-19 · Effective 2026-10-19 · Previous version (2026-10-18)

This English text governs accounts registered outside Korea. However, a local-language version applies where it is more favourable to the user or the mandatory law of the user’s country of residence requires it. Any ambiguity is interpreted in the user’s favour. For accounts registered in Korea, the Korean Terms of Service govern.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the AI voice call service ("the Service") operated by SudaCall's operator ("the Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and users.

Article 2 (Nature of the Service — AI-generated conversation)

Article 3 (Sign-up and accounts)

Article 4 (Subscriptions, Suda, and payment)

Article 5 (Call content and privacy)

Article 5-2 (Requests during a call)

Article 6 (Prohibited conduct)

The following are prohibited:

Expressing your feelings freely in conversation with the AI — including swearing — is not grounds for any penalty. However, where prohibited content under the paragraph above is attempted repeatedly, the Company may restrict use after prior notice.

Restriction procedure: as a rule the Company notifies the reason before restricting use or making content private. In urgent cases — such as infringement of another person's rights or a threat to the safety of a user or third party — the Company may act first (making content private, restricting use) and notify without delay afterwards.

Article 6-2 (Reporting rights infringement and interim measures)

Article 7 (Creators)

Article 8 (Intellectual property)

Article 8-2 (User feed posts)

You keep the rights in text, photos and videos you upload. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share them, including consent where required for other people’s images or personal information, and you are responsible for the content you post.

You grant the Company a non-exclusive permission limited to operating this Service to store, reproduce, display, resize, make thumbnails, convert video, provide a subscription preview and blur, conduct safety review, and handle reports of your posts. This does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated advertising, sale or model training. The permission ends when the post is deleted, except for retention required by law.

Posts with sexual exposure or sexual gratification, sexual contexts involving people who appear underage, coercion, violence or self-harm, hate symbols, another person’s private information, rights infringement or illegal content are prohibited. People under 18, or without a birth date on their profile, may post text but cannot upload photos or videos.

Automated checks may publish, hold or reject a post. You can report posts and block users; the avatar feed owner or the Company may hide or remove prohibited posts. You can request review of a moderation decision through support. You may edit text within 15 minutes and delete your own post at any time. Media replacements require deletion and a new post. Posts and media are deleted when you delete them or on permanent account deletion 7 days after your request, subject to retention required by law. Rejected media is deleted after 7 days.

Article 9 (Changes, suspension, and disclaimer)

Article 10 (Dispute resolution)

Addendum

These Terms apply from the public launch date. Changes are announced 7 days before they take effect (30 days before, for changes unfavourable to users).

Revised 2026-09-14 — Article 4 now covers payment in the iPhone app (App Store): charging to your Apple ID, automatic renewal, where to manage and cancel, and refunds through Apple. Payment terms for the Android app (Google Play) are unchanged, and the added provisions apply from the day payment opens in the iPhone app.

Revised 2026-09-19 — Article 4 now states the period of use for Suda given free of charge (such as invite rewards and come-back rewards) and the order in which Suda is used. The period applies only to free Suda given after this revision; free Suda already given keeps no expiry. Terms for top-up and subscription Suda are unchanged.

Revised 2026-09-29 — a new Article 5-2 (Requests during a call) states that for texts, messengers, email, calls, and calendar events the Company opens the screen and you send, call, or save yourself; that songs during a call play in the YouTube player on the call screen and a whole song opens in the YouTube app after the call, with the YouTube Terms of Service applying; and that location features are governed by a separate consent and the Location-Based Service Terms, among other points. Article 4 now states that in sleep mode the part of a call after you fall asleep is not deducted from your Suda. It covers new features only; the terms for the existing Service are unchanged. This revision takes effect on 29 September 2026.

Revised 2026-10-03 — creator settlement is now settlement revenue (the amount paid for paid Suda users actually used in calls with that avatar) × the share rate (10% by default). Unused, free, reward, and trial Suda are not included; the creator's own paid calls are. No settlement had been confirmed before this revision, so it takes effect on October 3, 2026.

Revised 2026-10-04 — the Suda usage in Article 4 now matches actual use (a minute of calling uses 13 Suda on a standard voice and 15 Suda on pro voices and star avatars); usage itself did not change. Article 3 now states that the US version is for people 18 and older, as sign-up already required. This revision takes effect on October 4, 2026.

Revised 2026-10-16 — Added Article 8-2 (User feed posts). It covers the newly opened feed posting feature and applies to users who post with it from the time they post; existing terms of use are unchanged.

Revised 2026-10-18 — These Terms now cover every account registered outside Korea, not only the United States: the minimum age outside Korea is 18 (Article 3); in an emergency you call your local emergency number, and the AI tells you your country's crisis line where it knows one (Article 5-2); withdrawal, refunds and payments by minors outside Korea also follow the mandatory law of your country of residence (Article 4), and the choice of Korean law and courts does not take away its mandatory consumer protections (Article 10); creators outside Korea are paid only through Payoneer, with tax withheld where the law requires (Article 7); a notice for users in Japan was added (Business information); and English is the governing text for accounts registered outside Korea. Other terms are unchanged. This revision takes effect on 18 October 2026, the day it was announced.

2026-10-10 — Free Suda is valid until the expiry stated at grant; top-up Suda has no expiry. Suda is used in order of expiry, with free Suda first for equal expiry times. Previously accrued rewards do not expire retroactively. Settlement counts free and trial allowances first within the quota, and pays the default 10% only on paid Suda actually used; reward lots and compensation are excluded. Effective: 2026-10-10.

2026-10-19 — Free-trial and Google Play renewal conditions, refund fulfilment, price-change notice, Taiwan and Brazil consumer protections, interpretation in the user’s favour and liability safeguards have been clarified or strengthened. This revision takes effect on 19 October 2026, the day of announcement. Update notice.

Business information

If you live in Japan — notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions: the seller, representative, address, telephone number and email address are as listed above; prices are shown on the purchase screen in the app; payment is charged by the App Store or Google Play when you buy and at each renewal; the Service is available as soon as payment is complete; withdrawal, cancellation and refunds follow Article 4.
