SudaCall Terms of Service
Written 2026-08-10 · Last revised 2026-10-10 · Effective 2026-10-10 · Previous version (2026-09-29)
This English text is provided for convenience. The Korean
version is the governing text; if the two differ, the
Korean Terms of Service prevail.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the AI voice
call service ("the Service") operated by SudaCall's operator ("the Company"),
and the rights and obligations of the Company and users.
Article 2 (Nature of the Service — AI-generated conversation)
- Every call, message, and summary in the Service is content
generated by artificial intelligence. The person on the other
end is not a real human, and the screen marks the conversation as
AI-generated.
- AI-generated content may be factually wrong. For matters needing
professional judgement — medical, legal, financial — always consult a
professional. What the AI says is conversation for entertainment and emotional
connection, not advice.
- A call partner registered by a creator (an "avatar style") means the AI
generates the conversation based on that creator's voice and speaking style.
The creator is not the person talking to you.
Article 3 (Sign-up and accounts)
- You sign up with a Google, Kakao, or Naver account (or an Apple account in the iPhone app) and must provide profile details such as
a nickname and date of birth.
- People under the age of 14 may not sign up. In the US version of the Service, you must be
18 or older to sign up, and you confirm this at sign-up.
- An account may be used only by its owner. Transferring or lending an
account is prohibited.
- When you delete your account, account data is destroyed in accordance with
the Privacy Policy.
Article 4 (Subscriptions, Suda, and payment)
- The Service sells a monthly subscription (the SudaCall subscription — three
tiers differing in the amount of Suda provided each month) and a top-up call
balance ("Suda"). While you have an active subscription or a top-up balance you
can call every AI avatar in the Service. A minute of calling uses 13 Suda on a
standard voice and 15 Suda on pro (finely trained) voices and star avatars
(1 Suda = 6 seconds × the avatar's rate, shown on the avatar's screen). The free allowance can
be used with any avatar, whatever its kind.
- Suda provided by a subscription expires at the end of that billing month.
Separately purchased top-up Suda carries over with no expiry.
- Free Suda can be used until the expiry stated when you receive it. Top-up Suda has no expiry.
Free monthly allowances, free trials, free rewards, subscription Suda and care passes are used in
order of expiry, with free Suda first when expiry times are the same.
Previously accrued rewards without expiry do not expire retroactively and are used after expiring Suda,
before top-up Suda.
- In sleep mode, the part of a call in which you have not spoken for a while
(after you fall asleep) is not deducted from your Suda. How often this applies and
its limit are set by the Company and shown in the app.
- Payment follows the payment methods of the app marketplace — Google Play
for the Android app and the App Store (Apple) for the iPhone app.
- iPhone (App Store) subscriptions: payment is
charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24
hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged
within the 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage the
subscription and turn off automatic renewal in Settings > Apple ID
(your name) > Subscriptions on your device.
- Withdrawal of purchase: you may withdraw a purchase within
7 days of buying it, provided the purchased subscription or Suda has not been
used.
- Digital content exception: once a subscription period has
begun or you have started to use Suda, withdrawal for that portion is
restricted under Article 17(2)(5) of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in
Electronic Commerce. The Company discloses this before payment.
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops
the next payment, and you keep access until the period you already paid for
ends. A subscription bought in the iPhone app is cancelled in App Store
subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).
- Refunds: if the Service is defective or was not provided
due to the Company's fault, that portion is refunded. Where other statutory
grounds for withdrawal or refund apply, the refund is the amount paid less the
greater of (a) the pro-rated value of the period used and (b) the value of
actual usage. For purchases made through an app marketplace, that marketplace's
refund policy may take precedence. Refunds for subscriptions or Suda bought
through the App Store are requested from Apple under Apple's refund policy
(reportaproblem.apple.com).
- Payments by minors: a payment made by a minor without the
consent of their legal representative may be cancelled by the minor or that
representative. Cancellation may be restricted where the minor used deception
to appear to be an adult.
- Prices and allowances may change after prior notice. Payments made before a
change keep the terms in force at the time of payment.
Article 5 (Call content and privacy)
- Call content (transcripts, summaries, relationship data) is visible
only to you. It is not disclosed to other users, including
creators.
- The Company may access call records only to the minimum extent needed to
improve service quality and verify safety, under internal controls.
- The Company cooperates with investigative or other state authorities only
upon a lawful official request, within the procedures and scope set by law.
- Details are governed by the Privacy Policy.
Article 5-2 (Requests during a call)
- During a call you can ask, by voice, to schedule calls (wake-up calls, medication
calls, and so on), set alarms and timers, listen to songs, get directions, draft texts,
messenger messages, and emails, place calls, add calendar events, pass words on to your
family, use sleep mode, and save places, find places nearby, or send your current location
to your care contact (location features), and similar. The features available may differ
by app version, device, operating system, and your permission and consent settings.
- For texts, messengers, email, calls, and calendar events, the Company opens the
relevant screen on your device, and you send, call, or save yourself. You
are responsible for what you send or save and for its results, except for loss caused by
the Company's intent or negligence.
- Songs during a call play in the YouTube player on the call screen (a short part of a
song, or music in the background while you talk); for a whole song we ask you first, end
the call, and open it in the YouTube app on your device (or on the web if the app is not
installed). In sleep mode, playback continues on the app's sleep screen after the call until
the time you set, and YouTube Premium users can hand the song to the YouTube Music app. By
using this feature you agree to the
YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube decides
which songs can be played and whether ads are shown, and playback stops when you leave the
app screen.
- Scheduled calls, alarms, and timers may ring late or not at all depending on your
device's notification, battery, and operating-system settings or network conditions. Use
another reminder as well for anything important, such as medication. A medication call only
tells you it is time to take your medicine; it is not medication guidance or a medical
service.
- Passing words on to your family and sending your current location to your care contact
work only if check-in reports are on (and, for location, only with separate consent to
provision to your care contact); they are sent when you ask during a call and cannot be
undone once sent. They are not emergency services — in an emergency, contact your local
emergency number (such as 911 in the United States, or 119 or 112 in Korea) directly.
- Sleep mode and the sounds after a call (YouTube playback on the sleep screen or in the YouTube Music app, or royalty-free audio provided by the Company and sounds the app generates)
are there to help you relax; they do not promise to improve your sleep or treat insomnia.
In sleep mode, a call ends quietly once you have not answered for a while.
- Location features are provided only if you consent to the collection and use of
personal location information (and, separately, to provision to your care contact), and are
governed by the Location-Based Service Terms.
Article 6 (Prohibited conduct)
The following are prohibited:
- Misappropriating another person's account or personal data
- Exploiting vulnerabilities, abnormal access, or interfering with the system
- Repeated attempts to draw prohibited content out of the AI — sexual
content, encouragement of illegal acts, or encouragement of self-harm or harm
to others
- Registering or using another person's voice, likeness, or name without the
rights holder's consent
- Unauthorised copying, distribution, or commercial use of Service content
Expressing your feelings freely in conversation with the AI — including
swearing — is not grounds for any penalty. However, where
prohibited content under the paragraph above is attempted repeatedly, the
Company may restrict use after prior notice.
Restriction procedure: as a rule the Company notifies the
reason before restricting use or making content private. In urgent cases — such
as infringement of another person's rights or a threat to the safety of a user
or third party — the Company may act first (making content private, restricting
use) and notify without delay afterwards.
Article 6-2 (Reporting rights infringement and interim measures)
- Anyone (including people who are not members of the Service) who believes
that content registered in the Service — voice, name, image, description —
infringes their rights (voice, likeness, name, intellectual property, and so
on) may report it to the Company. Reports are accepted through the rights
infringement reporting page or by email
(sudacall@creamhouse.net). A report must identify the infringing content,
provide evidence of the right, and give contact details for a reply.
- On receiving a report the Company may without delay take an interim measure
(making the content private). After giving the registrant an opportunity to
respond, the Company decides within 30 days of receipt whether to delete or
restore the content and notifies both the reporter and the registrant.
- The registrant of content under an interim measure may submit a response
requesting restoration; the Company reviews the response and the question of
infringement and decides whether to restore.
Article 7 (Creators)
- A creator may register only their own voice, and must
submit a recording of themselves reading the consent statement as evidence. If
misappropriation of another person's voice (including a celebrity's) is
confirmed, sales stop and the registration is removed immediately; legal
responsibility rests with the registrant.
- Creator registration is available only to people aged 19 or over.
- Representations, warranties, and indemnity: the creator
represents and warrants that they hold proper rights to the content they
register (voice, name, image, description) and that it does not infringe any
third party's rights. If a third party raises an objection, claim, or suit
against the Company as a result of a breach of this representation, the creator
shall defend the Company at their own cost and responsibility and compensate the
Company for its losses.
- Settlement: the creator's share is settlement revenue × the share
rate. Settlement revenue means the amount paid (tax included) for the paid Suda that users
actually used in calls with the creator's avatar in that month; one Suda is worth the price
of the product it was bought with divided by that product's Suda, and subscription Suda within the monthly
allowance count as used first. Free, reward, gift, free-trial, and test-payment Suda, and Suda users did not
use, are not included; the creator's own calls are included when made with paid Suda. The share rate is 10%
by default and may be set otherwise by individual agreement. Amounts and distribution details are shown on
the settlement screen. Settlement is confirmed at month end and paid the following month; refunds are
deducted from the next settlement on the same basis, and amounts below the minimum payout carry over to the
next month.
- Where a distribution rate changes, the change applies to the whole of that
month's settlement and is not applied retroactively to a settlement already
confirmed for a previous month.
- Payout method and minimum: creators registered in the
United States are paid in US dollars through Payoneer, to the email address on
the creator's Payoneer account; creators registered in Korea are paid in Korean
won to a bank account in the creator's own name. A balance below the minimum
payout (USD 10 / KRW 10,000) carries over to the following month.
- Tax: before the first payout the Company may require the
tax information the law of the creator's country requires. For creators in the
United States this means a Form W-9 (or W-8 series for non-US persons), and the
Company may report payments on Form 1099 where required; for creators in Korea
it means the information needed for withholding on business income, which is
deducted before payment. Payout is held until that information is provided.
- Deleting a style or removing your registration takes that avatar out of
Find Stars immediately and stops calls. Settlement up to that point is handled
according to the settlement ledger.
- The Company may verify the creator's identity and payout details before
payment, and may hold payment until that verification succeeds.
Article 8 (Intellectual property)
- Rights in the Service and its components (software, design, characters)
belong to the Company.
- Rights in voice and content registered by a creator belong to that creator.
The creator grants the Company a licence to the extent needed to provide the
Service, including creating and operating voice synthesis models and displaying
promotional material. When a registration is removed, the related synthesis
model is deleted in accordance with policy.
Article 9 (Changes, suspension, and disclaimer)
- The Company may change or suspend the Service where operationally or
technically necessary, and gives prior notice of material changes.
- The Company is not liable for loss caused by events beyond its control,
such as natural disaster, communication failure, or an outage at an external AI
provider.
- The Company does not warrant the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated
content. Decisions or actions a user takes on the basis of what the AI says are
the user's own responsibility.
Article 10 (Dispute resolution)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes
are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil
Procedure Act.

Addendum
These Terms apply from the public launch date. Changes are announced 7 days
before they take effect (30 days before, for changes unfavourable to users).
Revised 2026-09-14 — Article 4 now covers payment in the
iPhone app (App Store): charging to your Apple ID, automatic renewal, where to
manage and cancel, and refunds through Apple. Payment terms for the Android app
(Google Play) are unchanged, and the added provisions apply from the day payment
opens in the iPhone app.
Revised 2026-09-19 — Article 4 now states the period of use for Suda given
free of charge (such as invite rewards and come-back rewards) and the order in which Suda is
used. The period applies only to free Suda given after this revision; free Suda already given
keeps no expiry. Terms for top-up and subscription Suda are unchanged.
Revised 2026-09-29 — a new Article 5-2 (Requests during a call) states that
for texts, messengers, email, calls, and calendar events the Company opens the screen and you
send, call, or save yourself; that songs during a call play in the YouTube player on the call
screen and a whole song opens in the YouTube app after the call, with the YouTube Terms of
Service applying; and that location features are governed by a separate consent and the
Location-Based Service Terms, among other points. Article 4 now states that in sleep mode the
part of a call after you fall asleep is not deducted from your Suda. It covers new features
only; the terms for the existing Service are unchanged. This revision takes effect on
29 September 2026.
Revised 2026-10-03 — creator settlement is now settlement revenue (the amount paid
for paid Suda users actually used in calls with that avatar) × the share rate (10% by default). Unused,
free, reward, and trial Suda are not included; the creator's own paid calls are. No settlement had been
confirmed before this revision, so it takes effect on October 3, 2026.
Revised 2026-10-04 — the Suda usage in Article 4 now matches actual use (a minute of calling uses
13 Suda on a standard voice and 15 Suda on pro voices and star avatars); usage itself did not change. Article 3 now
states that the US version is for people 18 and older, as sign-up already required. This revision takes effect on
October 4, 2026.
2026-10-10 — Free Suda is valid until the expiry stated at grant; top-up Suda has no expiry.
Suda is used in order of expiry, with free Suda first for equal expiry times. Previously accrued rewards do not expire retroactively.
Settlement counts free and trial allowances first within the quota, and pays the default 10% only on paid Suda actually used; reward lots and compensation are excluded.
Effective: 2026-10-10.
